Personally I believe Mario...Bowser's even started recruiting younger than the U.S. army:

Remembering the Titan

So I know I'm a day late but after seeing this article on yahoo today (interesting article, if you have the time you should at least watch the video) it made me remember the fact that Biggie Smalls was killed 14 years ago yesterday. It's hard to describe the impact such a big man has had on the industry of hip-hop, ranging from his inspiration of Jay, to running the streets of New York, to his beef with Tupac (which is what most people believe lead to his demise). Overall though, Biggie is undoubtably seen as the single most important thing to ever happen to the industry.

Kanye Playlist

If more people commented and made their presence felt in this blog I would proceed with this post by asking, "What are your top five Kanye songs?" But seeing as no one that isn't an admin, except gritstains, has ever commented on any of our posts I won't ask that and instead assume this is the best Kanye West top 5.

I would like to note, however, that if the featured artist on any of these playlists is a rapper I only choose a song that is from one of that artist's cds or mixtapes. Additionally, I don't like choosing songs in which a guest artist out performs the featured artist. (For example, I did not choose So Appalled off of Kanye's newest cd because I think Jay-z destroys Ye's verse. Also why I didn't choose the Diamonds Remix with Jay because he wipes the floor with West on that one too) It is up for debate, however, on whether Nicki Minaj beats Ye in Monster. I think his verse is good enough though to consider it a top 5 of his.

10 seconds

here's 10 seconds you won't get back.

I'd like to point out the first line of the caption, and I quote, "most people will say this is a waste of 6 seconds of their lives".

I, on the other hand, completely disagree. These guys are just beyond our time.

Oh hey.

Here's this.

Guess who's back?

2.0 boys by Eminem ft. Slaughterhouse and Yelawolf

Well I guess he never really left...other than that 'retirement' thing he had. I'm not sure why rappers think they can retire. When you're good at selling legal crack, why stop? Anyway, Shady's back with a brand new hit and his affiliates at Shady records, including himself Yelawolf and Slaughterhouse (Slaughterhouse is a group composed of Joell Ortiz, Joe Budden, Royce Da 5'9" and Crooked I), are about to take over Young Money's overplayed crew of lames. Seriously, if the two crews fought on stage does anyone really think Young Money would win?
